This is a thoroughly enjoyable DVD. A pretty standard "story of the Beatles" sort of thing but there's also a substantial amount of footage of the beatles outside of concert footage, largely on the road. I particuarly enjoyed one particular bit with the band travelling on the train and basically mucking around and misbehaving.
The interviews are pretty good, espcecially the long John lennon interview at the end, of which I have previously seen bits but this seems like the whole thing to me.
As the other reviewer said on here, there is a lot of girls screaming on this programme but I can't remember any time I've seen footage of the beatles in public when there HAVEN'T been girls screeming. Continuously. I think it's just how it was. But it not throughout the whole programme.
To sum up: Okay biography, great footage, interesting interviews.

Absolute rubbish. The producers should be shot for this abomination. An insult to the name of the Beatles. Nothing more than a lot of girls screaming throughout the DVD!
